Overview of the current challenges of international logistics

After two years of price fluctuations in the maritime transport came the last quarter of 2021, with figures indicating that, by the end of that hike might stop. But it was not so.

“We started the year with a story that continues to represent a challenge for the sector: the lack of containers. Many companies in Europe have had to refrain from sending product or change the ship to the railway. The pandemic forced them to change their strategy and the supply chain and when it seemed that they could return to old practices this happened,” he said.

He added that some companies made modifications to their supply chain migrate the maritime transport in the railway. “There is a major network from China to Europe, and when they began to integrate it turns out that these machines come by Russia”.
